All I've learnt from this saga is that a lot of people claim to know a lot of things that they actually do not. And then some.

I was feeling pretty shit from the moment on Sat night we had wind of the McCleish story ( I should have known better )   until I got a call around 10.50 pm last night and now things are looking a lot lot  better .  General Krulack wasn't in the Marines for nothing  an expert on divertionary tactics which are coming in handy at the moment as our lads sit in the trenches waiting for the call to go over the top  .
.

It is worrying that Eck could be an option though.

Would much prefer a Poyet, Grayson, Coyle all look decent options.

He was never an option he wants the job but we don't want him !

Oh really.

McCliesh not considered but they aint going to slag the bloke off either .  I am not going to post who I think we are in for because it is not definate and I am not going to cock things up either by speculating when it could be very close .

Oh really.

Villa will not deny it because every time a new speculation comes up it would mean them having to deny it which means when they don't then deny it  then it implies there is something in it . They do not want to say anything until it's in the bag .

But It will not be McCleish !

Oh really.

It will not be McCleish !

Oh really.

NOTHING ever changes!

Obviously.

The most disappointing thing is that should we appoint him it just shows a total lack of ambition. Especially as there are a number of better candidates who are free agents at the moment.

One good thing to come out of this, MM and the other ITK's exposed as the no-nothing attention seekers they undoubtedly are.

Spot on.

SSN are yellow striping that Pannu is saying our actions challenge Premier League rules.  I really hope he's true & has Petrocelli, Kavanagh QC, Judge John Deed & Rumpole of the Bailey in their legal team.  If they want donations to fund the case I'm happy to help (although Blose'd probably qualify for Legal Aid...)
The worst thing about this is that those Blue nose fuckers can take the moral high ground on this.
We can bleat until we are blue in the face that we haven't tapped AM up, but it will look like we have if we give that fucker the job.

I wonder if Carlos Cuellar will move back to Rangers in a swap for McGregor? Old boys network.

Does anyone know who McLeish's backroom staff are?  Is Nigel Spink with him?

One positive from appointing McLeish, Randy will HAVE to spend big to justify the appointment.  Fans need winning over.

I'm clinging to the hope that this is some sort of nightmare that I'm going to awake from soon and breath a huge sigh of relief that it was all just a very, very bad dream but slowly its starting to dawn on me that for some unknown reason this is going to happen.

I've supported this club all my life, had some of the best days of my life at VP and for the first time ever I'm seriously contemplating if I can justify continuing that support. Whoever at VP is pursuing this insane strategy should be aware that this has the potential to rip the heart out of our club and in a single action undo every advance we have made in the past 5 years. Fucking unbelievable!
Exactly john. It just doesn't add up! Makes no sense! There couldn't be a worse choice! It's got to be a bluff!

Thats whats scary...Would you trust McLeish with massive transfer funding? Who will he buy? What contacts will he have to bring good football to us?

You reckon, it could be just the opposite, get McLiesh and its an excuse not to spend.

And winning the fans over, doesn't look much evidence of that being an important factor to me.
