I'm trying to get used to the idea of McLeish. I'm dripping in sweat.

Mysteryman could be right as a lot of rumours and talk of Hughes at Chelsea as head coach and Hiddink above him in a director of football role.

MOYES WILL NOT BE TAKING THE VILLA JOB FFS

I just don't understand why people have difficulty understanding that one fact. I will bet any person on here any amount that they want and offer them odds. He is happy at Everton and we are not enough of a step up for him to feel that it is worth leaving them. I'm sick of hearing all this Moyes stuff.

FWIW The General's supposed Facebook rant is now in print on the back page of the Express & Star.

If it is his account, it shows that this stuff about "we never talk to the press" is a bit silly if we're letting stuff like that find its way into the media.

I doubt it was really him, though.

After the pig in mud episode and other media skirmishes over O'Neill's departure, I can't beleive the General would be daft enough to put his thoughts out on FB, especially since the comments are fairly disrespectful to our neighbours owners.
It was a private message that was copied and pasted onto FB the General didn't put it there directly

Any idea who it was addressed to (apart from his first name is Richard obviously) or which site it was sent via? It wasn't someone on H&V, surely?

General Krulak posted the message on @AVFC_Meakin 's (twitter account name) facebook wall in reply to a comment Richard Meakin said on his wall or his status, after GK posted his comment, people from VitalVilla started replying to what GK had said on Richard Meakins wall, it got heated from the people replying... Richard decided to delete it all from his wall, which he did, but people on VitalVilla had copied what GK had said and posted it on VitalVilla first of all, that's where I got it from to post on here.

Add @AVFC_Meakin on twitter if you don't believe what I have to say and he will tell you himself.

Andy Gray said that Mark Hughes is unable to make any statement until 1st July and therefore wouldn't be surprised if the Villa job was all done and dusted.

Would be a bit selfish of Chelsea to take 2 good managers out of the market, I say we appoint 3, Ancellotti, Benitez and Van Gaal, that'll teach them.

Seriously it looks like the board are set on Prem experience so Curbs, McLeish or Coyle seem likely. Yuk.

Guys and gals (if any), be prepared for yet another possible name linked to the Villa job.....RUUD GUILLET!  he has just been sacked by Torek Grozny (some russian team).  it will be a matter of time before the press jump on this

I think that Krulaks statement if true, is preparing us for the news of McLeish
