I have my doubts.

As do I. It just seems bizarre, when all the Villa fans are in a blind panic, to use a massively subscribed social network like Facebook to all but put the seal on a decision that we were assured wouldn't be played out in the national media.

I reckon there is more chance of me being named manager than that being his FB page.

People have to start thinking that if McLeish will be eventually appointed, then all this noise will just make his job more difficult. Stop moaning about the manager, stop creating fb pages and get behind the team and the players. You are just hurting the team. People should say something about letting Barry, Milner and Young away in consecutive year, that's a big issue. McLeish is a proven manager, imagine how many likes would a fb page had "we dont want Grayson/Poyet/Coyle" McLeish is a much more proven manager than all these.

Proven in what way?

- Achieved everything a manager can in Scottish football.
- Scottish football hall of fame
- City had there best seasons in the past half century with him.
- League Cup winner

Christ, why people keep ignoring these achievements?

We have the most expensively assembled side in memory and we are going to hand over its running to a fella who has been relegated two seasons out of the last three?

No way this is happening.

This is the wierd thing about his comments on twitter where he rubukes fans on AM record saying the man has had great success in the game, he has in Scotland, in a league of 2, if you want to be relagated in the Premiership he has to be up there as one of the most qualified to get the job done.

He's saying it on Twitter as well?

Lerner and Krulak reckon they're in touch with our heritage and history, if they sign McLeish they obviously are not, if they dont then maybe they are

We used to say that Randy "got" the club. Appointing McLeish would be confirmation that he hasn't really understood anything. The fact we are even discussing it just beggars belief.

Two relegations in three years and football that makes Allardyce look like Wenger? And if we've been knocked back by our first half dozen choices to end up here, what does that say about either how much progress we've made in five years, or their competence in appointing managers?

I can't remember the last time Villa made me feel like this. Sick to the stomach and like we've given in.

Plus the fact the only people insisting it is his FB page have a total of 10 posts between them here. I smell a wind up.

Because winning anything in Scotland with Rangers or Celtic is as taxing as boiling a kettle.

He's never used FB nor Twitter to make comments before. Why start now - it's bullshit.
