I've never read the General refer to being on Facebook, he's normally far more discreet than that.

I reckon a wind up.

been confirmed a few times on VV that it is the General's facebook account

That krulak post is a bit of a concern. That and the email suggest he's at least a contender.

Christ I wish I could just forget about all this for the next week or so. It's taking up an outrageous amount of my time!

For him to post that on FB after all he's said about not doing things publicly either indicates he's a liar, or more likely, it's not his FB account.

Has anyone quoted it on GK's thread to ask him if he wrote that?

Not even the mighty Fletch could write a parody that believable.

It sounds like him to me. I hope to God it's just a good impression, or not only does it look as though we might be getting Mcleish in charge but the General has made himself look naive (and a bit rattled) at best.

Come on then, someone figure it out. Where did the quote come from? Has ANYONE known him to be on facebook before?

After weeks of this I'm getting jittery. Can't we just have Moyes? Please?

Has no one seen the shit GK has posted on Facebook?

"Richard, you know I am not going to tell you anything. I will say that the uproar over McLeish is absolutely uncalled for....he certainly has proved he can manage in the big leagues...just imagine what he could do if he was with an owner who supported him."

"First off, NO ONE is confirming a rumor...I am just stating a belief. You all cling to the fact that he has seen his lads relegated twice...well, the first time he was not with the Club long enough to make much of a difference. Secondly, ...look at the owners he has worked for and their support of him monetarily. Then look at Randy and what he provides to his Managers. Third, look at his record with other Clubs...as a Manager and player. Check with Sir Alex and ask him about the man...you will get an entirely different sense. All I am saying is that the fact that he managed BCFC should not be the driving factor. Those fans who X the man out because he managed our biggest rival just seem to miss the point. YES, Randy and the Board understand the feeliings of the Fans...we are neither deaf nor blind. At the same time, whether it would be this man or any other, we need to do what we think is right for the Club. NO action is taken without HUGE input from many knowledgeable people. Honest to goodness, if a single man can cause all the fans to abandon ship, that is a sad state of affairs. What you are basically saying is, "Randy, let us pick the Manager...we know more than you, those who are advising you, those who are in the game and know the individuals, those who make a living recommending managers and players, etc. etc" Sorry, that just doesn't seem right to me. Again, I am not confirming the rumor...just simply stating my feelings...as a FAN!!!!!!!!"

General Krulak on Facebook.

Jesus wept. That does not sound promising.

Bullshit

If it is, it's a hell of a good impersonation.

It is a brilliant take off of him if it is not him. Odd to post on FB though.

It's not completely true either, he's made a few shit signings. Zigic and Michel spring to mind. Bentley hardly set the place alight.

Quite, especially when he has a thread on here where he could vent to his heart's content.

Got to admit i'm not a massive fan of twitter, this discussion is so out in the open its contrary to most that he as said and not just on this board.

Can't be him.

I find it hard to believe he would join a group called "I Bet Aston Villa can get 100,000 fans before blues do! (Villa side)".
