Someone who lives close to VP grab a photo of the banner before it's down.

In Randy I trust - and yes I will be renewing my ST tomorrow. Managers come and go, Villa are constant. If McCleish comes and is successful then great, if not off he goes the blue nose twat and we try again.

Good man.

I renewed online Saturday night - >£900 for me and my kids. Would I ask for a refund? Of course not. VTID as they say.
It could be the best season we have had for years for all we know regardless of who is in the hotseat!

For me its simple...

We started the season without a manager, we ended the season without a manager, we still don't look anywhere nearer getting a manager, we seem incapable of attracting anyone of any reasonable quality, people speak of faith, I'm sure there where some on the Titanic that where convinced something would save them just before they where plunged to there icy graves.

Evening people

Did you read General Krulaks post yesterday or does that involve actually having to compute the information and is hence too difficult.

I read the post and replied to it.

Thought it was on the whole rubbish, thought that it was someone trying to plicate the fan base with the carrot that they are trying to find something that isn't there and in the final conclusion will employ someone that will leave us all scratching our heads as to what the phuk that was all about, bit like Houllier really.

As much as I agree the sentiment - in that we don't want McLeish. I fear the club should he get the job. Not because he'd be our manager, but because of the outcry and anger from most fans. I fear for how many fans will actually back him.

I reckon all this shit that we are interested in McLeish is a nose put up job.  Yes I know it's a leap of faith that a nose could possibly master the use of a computer and distribute such vile electronic communications but they could have help from the guy who brings the meals round.

One thing I do want to point out is the wonderful update in todays Mediawatch on Football365

Put Your House On It: Weekend Update
'Alex McLeish has emerged as the favourite to take over from Gerard Houllier at Villa Park after resigning from his post at Birmingham' - The Daily Star, June 13.

'Aston Villa owner Randy Lerner is set to move for Everton boss David Moyes' - The Daily Mirror, June 11.

'Simon Grayson is the new favourite for the Aston Villa manager's job following a flurry of bets on the Leeds United boss' - Metro, June 11.

'Roberto Martínez has been given permission by Wigan Athletic to speak to Aston Villa about the vacant manager's position' - The Guardian, June 9.

'Villa move for Rafa' - Sky Sports, June 8.

'Steve McClaren set for Aston Villa manager's job' - The Daily Telegraph, June 6.

'A candidate who has so far remained under the radar could yet come to the fore at Villa Park, with Owen Coyle of Bolton Wanderers having been mentioned' - The Guardian, June 3.

'Aston Villa eye former Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti' - The Daily Telegraph, June 2.

'Mark Hughes has moved a step closer to joining Aston Villa following his resignation as Fulham manager after only 11 months' - The Metro, June 2.

'Villa tempting manager Moyes as Everton feel the Premier League pinch' - The Daily Mail, May 28

If after reading that anyone feels they still need to speculate on the latest missive from Twatter, Sky Spurs News, Talkshite or theit daily paper then give us all a break and don't bother.

we've been there before and we may go there again, that's life, the highs and lows of Aston Villa F.C, founder member of the Football League, everyone needs to just chill out and wait....

75 goals in 76 league games over 2 seasons says everything you need to know about Mcleish.

His style of football is dull.
His transfer record is very poor (he has spent a lot more money than people seem to think).
He clearly can't motivate players (how else do you explain their post cup run in the league).
He has had the same team relegated twice.
Blues fans seem quite positive that they will get a better manager.

What more reason do you need to know he's not good enough for a side looking to improve on 9th place in the league (a terrible season for us, the best he's managed in 3 attempts)
