As he's currently favourite it's a fairly valid question not3bad and none of us know who will or will not be appointed however we may like to think we do.

I said the question was academic as far as I was concerned - other people are free to answer if they choose to - however, I couldn't care less what the bookies are saying.  They are just making their money from gullible punters who risk their money on rumours and hearsay.

I will be totally amazed if the Board think McMinge has the qualies to do the job!! Why in heavens' name would McMinge get the AV job?!

So if randy chose someone you dont want Hartman is he letting you down or is he standing by his own belief and doing what he feels is right for the club that he owns?

Whoever he picks will be the man he and the board believe is right and the people advising him- most of the ex players and managers who have voiced opinions today on tv and radio seem to be very much admirers of Alex mcleish, and we are told randy himself is an admirer and quizzed karren Brady at length about mcleish , so you never know.

I'll be against McLeish from the start, definitely. He'd have to do very, very well to change my mind.

If we employ a decent manager he'll have to fuck up pretty bad for me to turn against him.

Gentlemen, please remember we support Aston Villa FC. Come what may. And not the current incumbent of the managers office.
Are we to descend into a screaming horde akin to thousands of middle aged  women at the NEC or Villa Park over who is better Take That or Sir Cliff?
Tongue well and truly wedged in cheek, and apologies to any ladies who frequent the forum!!!!!

If he appoints Mcleish, I will be amazed. I wouldn't be happy with him, but I will support him and I would then expect RL to support him in the transfer market, like he has done with every other manager. Do I think he is the right man? No, but like everyone else on here, I do not know the slightest thing about running a football club. The thing that I find most frustrating about you Eastie is that every time we are linked with a high profile manager, you are very quick to dismiss it and blame it on speculation, but as soon as we are linked with someone who the fans wouldn't welcome, it is like christmas has come early. It is obviously going to happen, the club are going nowhere blah blah blah, when in the last 5 years of RL's tenure and the ambition he has shown, I have seen nothing to suggest we would just settle for someone like AM. If we do however, I am sure you will be delighted.

where would Colin Twattum be getting his information from if Villa man Matt Kendrick keeps getting it wrong. It's not like he's got some sort of special in whereas the rest of the world have been shut out. Twattum is a shit stirring nose. "Gloves are coming off" -  my bollocks they are.

Why does he feel the need to inform the world that now he's awake he can take his boxing gloves off?

From the Blues end. I'm not saying that I believe it but it's entirely he's being fed stuff by them.

Tattum is a fucking bellend, I used to work there. If he can wind Villa fans up with stories in the Mail he will. I didn't realise people still bought it, the circulation was getting near to fuck all when I was still there 18 months ago!!!

Why are you wearing gloves on your bollocks?

And why are you talking like Yoda?
