I think Moyes would be a perfect fit for us.

I'd agree. I can't believe he wouldn't either.
I dont know about him resigning from Everton but I reckon something is or has happened regarding him.
We'll see.

I thinks it's a good move for both parties. McClaren to restore a bit of credibility by getting Forest up.

Thing about Moyes is that if he doesn't take a job like Villa, as in a slightly sideways move but with a bigger budget to work with, what will he do?  Can't see a Man Utd coming in for him and if Kenwright does eventually sell up, he should remember what happened to Hughes at man City and Ranieri at Chelsea - the new owners will want their own man!

I think we're the right club at the right time for him.

The only thing I hold against Moyes is that he has managed a real competitor. Says it all for me.

i rellay dont want Mcliesh as manager for purely footballing reasons, his sides are drab and negative,
all the reasons that i wanted someone like Martines or Coyle, yes i know you can look at there records and experience, but thats the sort of football i want to see at Villa, so thats the reason.

having said that i dont want Mcliesh, anyone who says he has nothing positive on his record, is talking rubbish, he just won the cup with a club who havent won anything for over 40 years,

you can deride the way they won it all you like, but it still dont change the fact that they did, and it was Mcliesh who was the manager,
he also won promotion, there is a lot against all that, but in true internet fashion we talk in purely black and white terms, as if the man has done absolutley nothing of worth, which is nonsense.

his football wouldnt have me rushing down to VP with a big smile on my face, and the appointment ,if it happens would be a mistake for an awfull lot of reasons in my view,

i really cant see it happening, but when well respected people say its possible, you have to take note

Alex McLeish signing Marlon King before leaving Birmingham City Football Club is like doing a massive shit in the work toilet before clearing your desk.

I'd say more like doing it on the desk instead.

Oh come on. There wouldn't be a press conference for the manager of a middling club signing a contract.
It would have less exposure than the announcement that Creme Brulee were reforming.
