If mcleish was coming from rangers would fans feel different?

As it stands he took blues to their highest league finish in 50 years, into europe and won them
a wembley cup final.

His purchases of dann, johnson and foster were shrewd too.

He got them relegated twice and they were the league's bottom scorers.

Yeah, and his relegations were fucking great, too.  Maybe he'll bring Ridgewell and Gardner back!!

Got them relegated twice, average crowds at 23k. I live and work with noses and they say the football is shite and they could not wait to get rid

Your point is?

he's been given sufficient resources to at least have kept them in the division. He got them relegated twice. He's proved woefully inadequate.

As much as I'm thankful for both relegations was he really at fault for the first one?

I have no problem with where he comes from. The fact is he has twice relegated a team from the PL and his teams play the worst football known to man.

but dave, you cant make a silk purse out of a pigs ear!

Given better players and resources he may well succeed here, hes managed at international level, and at a huge club in rangers and is far from as bad as some portray.

Maybe the fact he was blues boss is clouding some judgements?

Barry Fry got bigger crowds at St Andrews than Mcleish.
