I'm getting really pissed off with all this now.
It's bad enough the first two Test Matches have been interrupted by me having to keep checking what's happening here, now they're ruining Sundays as well.
Leave me alone. Let me rest and enjoy the short summer please!

So, two weeks ago, all the talk of Ancelotti and Benitez and co.

Now, we're looking at McLeish, having been turned down by Wigan's manager?

That's a bit like trying to shag Megan Fox but ending up in bed with Sonia from Eastenders.

Erm, it's Mcleish that is looking at us

Resigning by email suggests is was more about a breakdown in relations with the board than anything else.

If he was on the shortlist, Blues would have received the letter from Randy asking to speak to McLeish 10 days ago and they would be crowing from the rooftops saying they were refusing him permission to speak to us

(That's what I'm hoping anyway...)

If I can remember how that Alan Partridge sketch went when he was trapped in his stalkers house - "I'm going to level with you all now-I'm a little bit scared".
If he's appointed, I shall shout the famous line at McLeish from the same episode.

'No way! You're a big spastic, you're a mentalist.'

Appointing McLeish would be the equivalent of serving tea in an Arielator.  Or to misquote the programme "that's a picture of Randy Lerner.  He said he could turn us into a top four side.  Talking out of his arse!"

I'm just glad Ian Holloway hasn't been mentioned anywhere.
That's because they're feeding us all this shit and then they're gonna pull the Yokel out of the hat and expect us to be grateful!
(Only joking! I still have faith with RL et al)

Maybe it's just coincidence.  Maybe he wasn't involved in buying King and resigned because of Board interference in playing matters. Yeah that'll be it won't it.

Thinking about it he may well have resigned as it sounds like the Blues board are going to be selling any of their vaguely half decent players and wouldn't have given him any money to buy new ones. Their academy is no great shakes so whoever takes over will have a hell of a job on their hands if they think they're coming straight back up.
