So according to the press noone wants the villa job. How bout the fact that 2 managers have resigned from jobs just to get the chance to speak to us?

Remember last season when some of us were saying that the battling qualities and workrate of the rags was something to admire ?
Managed on a budget ?
Won a promotion
Won a trophy.

How is he much worse than Martinez ?

Just playing devils advocate like.

My opinion,he can feck off with all those attributes to anywhere except Villa Park.

This is the view that i am praying is the case!!

Peter Pan(nu) received the email whilst in Amsterdam?

Bet he's hoping McLeish quitting is all a dream, brought on by his reefer.

Well anyone with a nailed on ITK that it's someone else, I strongly suggest you get on Betfair and lay your house against it.  You'll make a killing won't you?  In the real world, Alex McLeish is going to be the new Villa manager.

So, two weeks ago, all the talk of Ancelotti and Benitez and co.

Now, we're looking at McLeish, having been turned down by Wigan's manager?

That's a bit like trying to shag Megan Fox but ending up in bed with Sonia from Eastenders.

A choice of Grayson v McLeish? Grayson every day of the week, and twice on Sundays. Especially this sunday. Let's hope for an apparent last minute change of mind.

Shit, negative, mind numbingly bad football.
The trophy cost them their Premier place as their foot went off the gas the second they won the League cup.

As for workrate, that faded in the last seven or eight games, which to me suggests a lack of fitness on their part.

Unlock that new manager thread.

We need as many as possible voting to show the board it can't happen.

Had a quick look at the odds on Sky Bet and noticed Tony Morley was 500-1, why doesn't the board send someone to put £1 million on it, hire him and use the cash to fund an extravagant amount of spending?

Made me laugh, that. Hysterically, and through tears, mind.
