come on lads, give the guy a chance !

You can if you want if he comes, but you'll be in a minority. It won't happen, there's too much baggage involved all round.

Rob Dorsett on SSN right now, said something about Randy had said to him in private about how much he admires McCleish. Strange, although Randy doesn't talk to the media, does he have private conversations with them?

And here we thought it would be just another lazy sunday.

Help us Obiwan, your our only hope!

The only way Obiwan could help us would be to let us have Roy Hodgson

Haha very funny dude, I like it. Although even better if you said Odemwinge.

Jeepers creepers could you imagine the boooooooooring football we would have to put up with, with him in charge. The last time I heard a rumour like this and laughed it off for being so ridiculous was :-

 Marlon Harewood

Give him a chance?
Is our ambition now to be relegated?
Does Randy really want half empty stands?
season tickets will be returned/not purchased in huge numbers!
Damn fool.

He resigned by email?! Brilliant. Nice of him to sign Marlon King first.

If McLeish tips up at the Villa, i hope he brings a centre half with him..

what, like Curtis Davis?

He probably meant Ridgewell.

Doubt it. Johnson or Dann more like.

Sorry, but it's true.

I hope you're right Maz, I really do.  He wouldn't though, would he?  I mean, he couldn't.  Could he?  Based on what the General said in his thread, I'd like to see them spin McLeish as a good signing:

"Research on everything from records (history) to connectivity with the players in the dressing room to effectiveness in utilizing personnel inherited to compatibility with the owner and the Club plus many, many, other things.  To some fans it must seem like a single act and, more importantly, a "signal" about the "ambition" of the Club.  As if one Manager sends a bigger ambition signal than another.  Of course we want to forget about whether or not the Manager is a good fit for the Club.  I have said it once and I will say it again, we will NOT conduct business in the media....we will NOT react to nonsense coming out of the media...and we MUST NOT seek a Manager who simply gets a thumbs-up from the Fans.  We will get the very best man for the job in our opinion and the opinion of those who assist us in the process.  Once we get our man, we will support him 110%.  Randy has never failed to support his Manager and he won't start now."

I could put a case for just about any other manager if really pressed, even Martinez.  But not McLeish.  Ignoring the fact that he manages Blues, anybody who sends the same club down twice should be avoided like the plague.

Not the least being that he has just got a team that could have finished mid table relegated.....just a minor consideration

We are scared.  ;)

We are the club that signed Emile Heskey, Simon Stainrod, Colin Calderwood and Derek Mountfield, that makes anything possible...

There was nothing wrong with Mountfield.

Oh Christ.  That crazy church leader must have been a week or so out with the timing of his end of the world.  It can be the only answer.  The four horsemen are on their way....
