thats the problem knowing we approached Martinez and why the bookies are making such a killing. If we approached him, then literally anyone is possible

That poll is becoming embarassing. Where's Eddie Hitler? Kendrick's mysterious "Mr. X"? And Grayson. Sort it out!

You can tell when the hacks really have'nt got a clue when even a local journalist refers to our new manager as 'Mr X'. I think personally Randy ought be be congrautulated for making them all look so bloody stupid.

It's good hear that some of us  can keep a sense of prospective despite SSN and rest of Press's worst efforts to call into question our Management's competence. Posters like Mazrim and others have tried to do that and have spoken very well.  Good journalist's like Patrick Collins of the MOS have also praised the impeccable  approach of our board and other clubs , unlike Whelan at WA, have respected the confidentiality that we  requested.

However as I have said before Villa PR machine should have managed the RM  issue better that they did.
I also hope that Randy  and the Team can come up with an appointment that will smack the criticism right  down their throat all the way out of the other end!

mcleish would not be in my top 5 but if we are talking about the likes of martinez and grayson then mcleish would look more favourable- hes managed rangers well and scotland and given a club like villa wouldnt be overwhelmed by it- an interesting option albeit controversial.

saunders has his failures before coming to villa and just because blues went down i wouldnt discount mcleish.

I'd rather have Martinez than McCleish. At least he's has'nt got Wigan relegated, twice.

Twenty spot on Rijkaard at 18s is the ticket.  He will be at the helm by Thursday.

Martinez has a poor record with Wigan but has great potential.
McLeish was boss of the shit. He's incredibly soiled goods and we should not be mentioning him at all!

Kendrick is no fool. I reckon we're going to appoint the world's first incognito manager, with him conducting all interviews wearing a STIG-like helmet and a voice box. People will speculate its Mourinhio under there and season tickets will go through the roof.

This whole thread is a 365 page lesson as to why the bookies always come out on top.

It could work, each press conference could start off a voice saying something along the lines of 'some say he invented the bicycle kick'.........
