curbishley would not be the answer but his cv puts him miles ahead of grayson or martinez- bloody hell we might as well nick sven from leicester rather than grayson etc.

We should already have hired Mark Hughes last week.
we cant talk to him till july the 1st, you been living on the moon?

We could have asked permission to talk with him, just like Martinez.

MacDonald would be a good idea if we ran out of options.

As a player he has European experience (winning the Champions League with Dortmund) and so should have some decent contacts abroad.

Christ, I worked overseas for 10 years but I wouldn't say because of it I have good contacts in my business.

No we couldnt, he relinquished his manager role at the club and they have placed him on gardening leave till the 1st july. We cannot talk to him till then. I am not naive enough to think we havent already but officially that is the facts!

Curbishley is so yesterday. We need a manager under 50 preferably early 40's with progressive ideas and a strategy  to develop our youngsters with some additions in key positions  by buying cutely.

I'm quite surprised no-one has mentioned the possibility of Gary McAllister staying on and taking over the role.

Because then it would be time to crack open the razor blades.

Grayson would get a thumbs up from me.  I like the idea of promoting English managers and giving them the opportunity.  He's played for us so understands the ethos.

He got Leeds promoted. Granted they were bar far the biggest club in the division but it was closely becoming a poison challace.  He also build the foundations for Blackpool to start over achieving.

Of course we could talk to him if Fulham granted us permission. We could have agreed with him and sign him at 1st of july.
There is no way McAllister will be our head coach. Not even with Cowans

Oh bloody hell - how did this happen.

We started the week hoping we would get Ancelotti or Van Gaal

We end the week hoping we will get Grayson and McLeish. Who will it be Monday - Steve Staunton, Dean Saunders and Carlton Palmer ?

In fact, if anyone is still on Shaun Teales twitter page, ask him if he is interested will ya

Despite my vehement  dislike of that man...the way things are going we should keep an open mind!
