God sake , it is like traching to 6yr olds.

Please search through any of my posts and quote me ?

I have never ever said that.

In fact, I have many times replied to such posts with - Boro gave that line with Bryan Robson - didn't work for them.

Wenger went to the hotbed of football that is Japan - and then came to Arsenal. I cannot think of one single manager who has come from his only real job in Japan - to a top European team, in the same way I cannot remember one single person who did not coach / manage a club, then go to a national side, then a premier league side.

You do know that Wenger won the title and French cup with Monaco don't you?

HoltePaul, what's this only real job in Japan you're on about for Wenger? He was manager of Nancy and Monaco before he went over there or do they not count?

You're now saying that Wenger's only managerial experience of note prior to Arsenal was managing Grampus Eight?

He'd probably have the team march out to the sound of the Internationale booming around Villa Park. Make a change from the bell

I've just seen Egil Olsen in Mr Egg.

I asked him about the Villa vacancy and he told me to "Fuck off".

You Sir, are a liar. We all know Mr Egg has shut down. Admit it, you were in McDonalds when he told you to fuck off but you wanted to pretend you were posh!

Coupla days away at the Belfry without the internet. I hoped to come back to see we'd landed a manager. Damnit.

Never mind about Houllier`s dicky ticker, I`m not sure how much more of this my heart can take.
I find it hard to believe that after the issue with MON leaving the way he did plus the time allowed for GH after his scare that we have not already had a replacement lined up.
At this rate we will all be extremely pleased to accept the likes of McClaren or Hughes - what about Tord and Sven?
