Bilic - yes
Ranieri - no
Grayson - no

I still think it'll be Moyes.

 Bilic - no
Ranieri - maybe
Grayson - no

I'm not dead against Ranieri, but i think he's a bit of a has been at it would probably go a bit like Houllier did. Bilic would take a while to shape the team his way, but i reckon he'd make us a good side in the long term. Grayson needs to manage at a higher level first.

Fair enough buddy but couldnt you apply same logic and also say Bilic hasnt managed a club team, let alone in England?

Bilic would be for me - someone I'd never even thought of, don't particularly want, but would take as it would be intruiging.

Nothing to compare him on club wise, but is clearly a good motivator, got a very good win record at international level and could turn into the next Wenger (who had similar credentials) or Dr Jo (likewise)

But at least it would show some creative thinking, and I think he would be great in the media - similar to JG

Prefer better - but I'd take him.

My problem with bilic is hes too set in the old school ways like MON. I mean he still wears an earring which is way 1990's ;)

BTW Who is Egil Olsen and who has he managed in the past?

I think it says everything that after a week of SSN and newspaper speculation, leaks from people in the know and the bookies installing a new favourite everyday, we currently have Alex McLeish as favourite for the job and nobody cares. Thats how serious we are now taking it. Tomorrow somebody in the know will be saying Pele, the media will report we are in talks with Arsene Wenger and Mac Murphy from Murphy's Mob will be the bookies favourite.

Anyone with the nickname 'Drillo' who's managed a club called Frigg four times is good enough in my book.

I'm yet to see any comment from the club saying we have been rejected by anyone. I'm also yet to see any comment from all the managers who have supposedly said no.

To those that know it all, please explain to this old fool why you believe anyone has turned us down thus far, if no-one anywhere has come out and said so?

I agree that it isn't easy to seperate noise and signal from the reports in papers, Twitter etc. but one has to try and find a way. That's why I said that "seemingly we don't have the pulling/spending power to get the likes of Ancelotti, Benitez or Moyes". Ancelotti has said publicly that he wants a year off; Benitez has reportedly asked for more money (to spend on players) than the board wants to give (this is, more or less, confirmed by a poster on here that is close to one of the board members); Moyes has publicly said that he isn't interested in the job.

But there is still nothing from any of them to confirm we have asked and they have rejected us - do you not find that odd in these days of reporters on door steps looking for soundbites?

No, because there is nothing to be gained by doing this. Benitez might still be interested and hoping that we Randy returns to his door with a huge transfer kitty. And Moyes might use our interest as leverage when negotiating his transfer budget at Everton. If they rejects us publically, it's definite.

Sorry to say your logic is flawed. There is no evidence anywhere to support the conclusion that someone has rejected us, none. Only made up media 'analysis', they would salivate at the chance to quote someone who has said NO.
Strange that they can't!

The opposite I think. He tried to abandon Wimbledon's traditional long-ball game and they got relegated as a result.
