It still would be nice just for once, to get to the start of August with 4 or 5 new players who've trained with the squad, took part in pre-season friendlies and who generally have been introduced to their team mates. Just to see if there's any advantage in this novel method of preperation for a new season.

Why do things the easy way when you can do things the Villa way?

Great! My mate's a Bluebirds fan and would love Hughes being their new gaffer! It sends out the right kind of message for Cardiff. It wouldn't for Villa!

Just looked at the latest odds and a few caught my eye.
Alan McInally 250/1
Ray Graydon   66/1
Kevin Keegan  25/1
Ian Holloway   20/1
Simon Grayson 8/1
Alex McLeish     3/1 favourite
The bookies list is starting to look like the other thread which started by listing everyone whos managed in the PL, but with league managers, European managers and ex-players thrown in too.

He is managing a local
Mark Hughes is being linked with Cardiff.

It's a good fit  and if Cardiff join the Welsh League Hughes can have a go in the Champions League qualifiers with them as is his wish!

Keegan would be interesting, though his habit of having a meltdown and walking out every few years probably rules him out.

We should really go to McDonald's as they have lot of well trained Managers.
