Still Owen Coyle.  And is everyone talking about Edward Elizabeth Hitler?

Ian, Owen Coyle, really?! And may I say what a *smashing* blouse you have on?

Just general internet talk, a couple of tweets etc... Lerner apparently has a house in Corsica and so does Wenger and blah blah blah.....  It's rumoured that Wenger did not show up for his role on French TV last night as he was in Corsica, or something along those lines.  As I say, ridiculous.................Or is it??????

I've just got in and I'm catching up.

Looked at the latest betting and I'm amazed.  Unaccountably, the Quiche and my other personal fave, Ralf Rangnick - what's not to love about a name like that? - have slipped to the bottom of the list.  What's going on?  Only last night they were like, totally hot!  Very disappointed.

But good to see the Villa Old Boys clawing their way up the ratings to about halfway.  If this goes on much longer, I expect to see Alan McInally, Andy Gray and Sid as the dream team.  You heard it here first.  Sadly, Tony M is still at 500/1 but just below halfway, so he's making progress. Ray Graydon is in the lead (unless you count Curbishley) but Gareth Southgate has crashed down with The Ralf, Q and - Roy Keane...mwah hah hah (scream!).  There really is something of the night about him.

Bettin checkin on http://www.oddschecker.com/football/football-specials/aston-villa-specials/next-permanent-manager if, like me, you really need to find out Maradona's latest status.

It's addictive and I don't even bet!  I know this is not exactly the spirit, we need a brill manager, pre-season beckons etc. but I'm quite enjoying the whole, 'who will it be?' cliffhanger.  Oh yes and Hughes is top again.  Yawn.

McLeish now ODDS-ON with SkyBet. They're just playing silly buggers. Aren't they?

Well, we have been told to expect a ginger Scot, ie, a Scot, as manager by tomorrow.....

It's ok, he's 10/1 with Coral, it's just sky bet playing the punters.  If there was credible evidence enough to put McLeish as odds on favourite then you wouldn't get 10/1 with another bookies.  I hope....

McLeish?  Good god.  I go out for an evening and look what happens while I'm away.

Seriously????

Maybe the way back for Agents Ridgewell, Curtis and Gardner.  Come in from the cold...

If Shaun Teale's tweets are accurate then the only real "gobsmacking" Prem experienced managers would surely be Wenger and MON.  McLeish would fit that bill too but not in the good way Mr Teale suggested.

McLeish is favourite on Betfair which means he'll be favourite everywhere.

No he isn't.  He is 10/1 with Coral.
