Based on Ian Taylor's comments on twitter I have resigned myself to it being Martinez.

Add to that the imminent departure of Ashley Young (at least), I think it's fair to say we won't be selling many season tickets this summer. I've got mine already but I can't say I have any enthusiasm whatsoever for next season right now.

I really think we should have stuck with Houllier at this point, because at least then we wouldn't have had our hopes raised of a top class manager coming in, only to end up with someone unproven that even Wigan fans aren't upset to lose, and who only 10% of the fanbase want to see in charge.

Fantastic! RL's private jet has been  in Madrid so we now know for a fact that Mourinho will be unveiled as our new manager!
