Oh Feck-not FSW please! He is mad as a hatter. We need a good communicator with a stable temperament.

in all fairness to Benitez (and I assure you I say that reservedly), he went mental at about the same as the backroom bollocks was happening at Liverpool. You can't take away what he's won over the course of his career, and while he's liable to fall off the deep end, he's got a nastiness about him that I want to see in a Villa manager.

If Benitez is the new manager can FSW be added to the swear filter to say Rafa?

It's amazing what the British press can convince folk.
Eh?
Why on earth would you think he's unstable?

He didn't get as far as he has in the game by being a mentalist.

A man who attempts to send out a team of 12 players for a second half could be termed a bit of a div.

We need a good communicator .
Speaks better English than McClaren. Probably speaks better double Dutch as well.

I can understand that he would have been considered with his cv would be remiss of them not to consider him . However something tells me there are more smoke and mirrors going on . Maybe waiting for a certain person to get back off his hols before much happens
Is Martinez still on holiday?

Can you see a manager being appointed this week?

Well the one person we assume is on holiday is David Moyes as per Rooneys twitter talk earlier on today!

I d
I think the longer it goes on the more likely it looks like it'll be Hughes.

It will not be Hughes if it is hell has frozen over

Of the names mentioned in the poll MM, how many are genuinely in the running?
on't

I don't want to build peoples hopes up I really don't and I don't want to mislead people my earlier post is what I know Hughes not considered McClaren considered but that was it Ancelotti definately considered and wanted to speak to him . I don't know anymore than that but something just tells me there is a ' Bent meltdown ' coming . Don't know why but just a snippet of info which I am not going to post leads me to think that not everything we are hearing and sseing is maybe what we are doing  because if it is right it will take it's natural course and I don't want to mess it up either .

Yeah, maybe. If it wasn't the champions league final and he wasn't frantically devising a plan to come back from 3-0 down against AC Milan.

The Mcclaren thing could be huge mix-up on Pat Murphy's part. Villa were interested in pop svengali and ex-manager of the sex pistols, Malcolm McClaren. Obviously they cancelled the meeting when they found out he was dead.

I thought he would end up at Real Madrid once
