Oooh. Put SSN on quick folks.

Rafa looks like it's on

It's sounds positive. The transfer budget might be a sticking point though.

Not a chance Rafa. Balague has always stated that Rafa has looked an Villa as an exciting project. Even when Houllier was still there.

Not a Rafa fan. But he ticks the boxes. High profile. Great contacts and no interference from owners. Also expect to see an introduction to the first team for Gary Gardner, who he was interested in when he was at Inter ............

I won't. But then I've already said this. But I'd have him over that grinning ninny of an ex-Newton Heath assistant.

Does anyone know who is telling the truth? Tom ross (always getting it wrong) or sky sports (said mcclaren will be new boss)

Benitez is someone who could have his pick of some of the biggest jobs in England, Spain or Italy. If he comes to Villa I would suggest that is a sign that he has had assurances of some serious financial backing. A Champions League winning manager with financial backing. That will do for me. Admittedly, I need to put his rants towards the end at Liverpool to the back of my mind though.
