Not you my friend. Or at least I hope not. Not shooting the messenger! Whoever tweeted those comments...apologies for any confusion

I'm Villa through and through pal. The guys latest tweets proves he knows SFA!!! Saying Villa are hard to get information out of and cannot always guarentee his sources are correct, so i'd take it with a pinch of salt.

Big Ron was an ex villa player who confessed he'd always one day wanted to manage Aston villa- how can he be compared to moyes who has no ties to our club?

The biggest worry is that as contenders seem to drop by the wayside that mclaren is looking more likely and that is a major worry.

I'd expect randy would have discreetly checked if moyes were interested and if he had been made a formal approach rather than be publicly rebuffed, it appears it is not the case .

Moyes has made clear on more than one occassion he is not interested in managing Aston villa - what part of not interested do you not understand?

The annoying thing is that, in that article on the 21st May, Moyes unwittingly (maybe) makes a cast iron case for taking the Villa job. He basically compares the Chelsea job (lots of funds but no stability) with Everton (lots of stability but no funds) and concludes that he's better off where he is.

Does he not think that the Villa job = Stability + Funds = Ideal Job?

He should do but the power of the one ring has sent him around the bend.

Well McClaren just collapsed from 3/1 to 7/1 on Betfair so those rumours have been taken very seriously...

Rafa has the tactical subtly to make a difference because he's a massive football nerd.

His record is cracking too and I don't believe in all the No.2 leaving correlation business. Hicks and Gillet is why it went belly up at Liverpool and Inter was impossible job given what Jose had done.

Rafa to be our gaffa.

Maybe randy and the general have insisted on anyone being interviewed wearing a false wig and tache, although those showers forecast this afternoon may flush out one gentleman.

Agreed mr woodhall. With your contacts dave do you have a gut feeling who the new man might be?

Ain't got a clue.

The Lurkers finest moment.

Of course, I could always say "From which album?"

Very good. Think a very young Stuart Pearce was featured somewhere on the album sleeve.

Why do we would want Moyse. Oh yes he has managed to make sure Everton do not get relegated every season  so far despite having likes of Cahill, Arteta, Jagielka, Baines, Howard, Lescott and Pienaar in his team.

Oh shit !

Brian Robson has just quit his job in Thailand.

Maybe the dream team is on - Robson as manager, McClown as coach  :(

McClaren as a coach would actually be worth a shout, by all accounts that's what he's very good at.

Ferguson certainly thought so.
