Why wouldn't Hughes get an interview? He's handed his notice in?
Very underwelmed with Benitez and Jol.

Fulham say that he cannot approach or be approached until a month after his resignation on the first of this month. NoticePeriod?

Not quite sure this is right, but the fact we're interviewing suggests neither candidate is in a job, just because if a manager of another club interviews and doesn't get the post it would be really difficult for him. Do other clubs interview in the way we do?

My prediction then is for 2 from mclaren, Jol, hughes or Benitez. The latter 2 have both been ruled out by the media but I'm not sure I buy that.

Hopefully I'm wrong and the likes of moyes is prepared to interview, but I just struggle to see it.

They should know who they want and get him- if it's hughes offer fulham some cash , let's get on with it and get our man.

If he's interviewing two candidates today who have Prem experience the list is pretty slim isn't it? Presumably not Moyes, Coyle or Martinez as we'd need permission from their respective clubs and Hughes can't be approached under the terms of his Fulham notice period. Prem experience rules out any of the Dutch options so all points towards Benitez, Jol, McLaren & Curbishley.

Fayed is no fool, why would he pay Hughes wages when he can offload him and get maybe £250000 comp- pay the man randy!

Jesus christ no.

Is he in the running?

He'd be a dreadful appointment.

We play with two wingers, and he hates crosses.
I don't think he'd take a job on Earth again, unless the wages were fantastic, last time he was here he got hammered with tacks.

Maybe, but then we generally do business on the quiet so may have approached Everton and or Bolton or Fulham already. Moyes, Hughes and Coyle may still be in with a shout just us and their clubs have kept it under the radar. Personally I hope Benitez gets an interview, but then Coyle played very decent football at times last season before Bolton ran out of steam and Moyes would do a good job. Hughes, just not sure at all. Gut feeling tells me that it won't be an obvious candidate.

Hughes - Chelsea and Jol - Fulham look more likely. Rafa would make sense, maybe McClaren and someone in work

I think Mclaren has been after the job since it looked increasingly likely GH wasn't coming back. He came out straight away saying he wasn't interested in the West Spam job and I had a feeling he had his eye on our place. I would be gutted if it was him though.

Of those left with prem experience (if that's what we are going for) Benitez for me, now CA's going on Hols for a year.

There is always Robert De Matteo though.

Hiddinck is Chelsea bound- cant see Hughes as a number 2.

I can see a DOF/ Coach role though, that leaves Hughes enhancing his reputation on the back of any success Hiddink may have!

If Matt Kendrick dose'nt know who Randy is going to interview, then how does he know if they've got PL experience or not?

Seriously? Who are the realistic candidates who wouldn't underwhelm you?
