Right, I'm laying my cards down for my Villa management dream team...

Ready...

Manager: MoN

Coach: Schteve McClogen

DoF: Avram Grant

Think of the potential, they could all swap roles n stuff...

Thinking outside your box: I like it.

I would like to see Glen Hoddle and Paul McKenna team up.

That would rule.

BFR as Head of Diversity & Media Relations.

The General in charge of Catering.

The best managers are pretty bright, the majority of managers are not so bright. You need intelligence to succeeed in management, Owen Coyle is pretty thick you can tell that by listening to him. So first find someone who is intelligent.

Redknapp and Ferguson have always seemed pretty thick to me.

I suppose they might be putting it on but there is no way to tell if Coyle is not.
They are both bright people, not eloquent but bright. They both have cunning. Coyle is thicker than Allardyce.

If we had the choice of only the two: Moyes or Hughes?

Hughes for me.

It brings up another point: Would we prefer a British or Foreign Manager/coach?

I mean Gregory for example, for all his faults had me jumping around the kitchen with my four year old lad singing
"we are top of the league". And proud that the team was largely English.

Why is it that some want a Euro Manager?

Pundits are saying out loud that Wengers team needs British steel if they are to win anything.

So: British- Coyle? Moyes? Hughes? Foreign: CA?  I mean, I would take CA but who is available as a Brit with a winning CV?? Those three have not won  much between them.

Capello  complains that our league has the highest complement of foreign players in the World and he is right.

If we want Euro places we might need a European coach. Hate to say it but I agree. Perhaps.

Nothing major, but Kendrick on Twitter:

Quote
Lerner jets in to Brum today. He's set to interview new prime candidate + one other (both with Prem experience) over the next few days

Don't know yet, so please don't ask!

He also commented on the ill-feeling towards McLaren. Suggesting it's not him.

Hughes can't be interviewed, Kendrick reckons Ancelotti's rejected it, Moyes wouldn't have an interview as he's managing elsewhere.

Benitez and Jol?

I wouldn't mind either of them, both would have there advantages. If I have to get off the fence though I'd go for Moyes.

Why wouldn't Hughes get an interview? He's handed his notice in?
Very underwelmed with Benitez and Jol.
