ABSM&AC for me.

I just don't get why he would be under consideration when Rafa is available and wants the job.

It's going to be Mark Hughes me thinks. There's no way he's walked out of a job with nothing lined up and although we told Fulham there had been no contact, my guess is that they're going to let the dust settle for a week or so, announce him as manager and say we did'nt approach him until he was available. I might be wrong and i hope i am.

That's what I was told.
Not much better than McLaren, in my opinion.

I would take Hughes or rafa far ahead of mclaren clampy, maybe randy has a surprise up his sleeve but it seems the press don't have a clue who it will be, it's all guesswork but I pray it's not mclaren.

I don't want either Hughes or McClaren, they're both mediocre managers. We need the place to get the kind of lift it got when MON walked through the door, and neither of those two will provide that.

I'm happy enough with the other names banded about though.

Really disappointed after reading about CA taking a year out!
Agreed Paul, Moyes moves to number 1 for me, unless Van Gaal is on the radar! Martinez looks a better bet than yesterday, and the same with Rafa.
Surprised you had McLaren so high!!!

Surely the board can't make the same mistake twice? They need to realise McLaren is just a complete no-go.

Why would you appoint a manager which 99% of the fans don't want? Even Benitez and Hughes are far more likable than McLaren.

I doubt the masses would go for it, unless he was the coach to a more glamorous Director of Football type.

I very much doubt that any of these rumours are coming out of the club but I reckon Hughes' popularity would be 20% greater just because he is not McLaren.  It's the club's very different way of creating a feel good factor.

Surely Randy and those around him can see that muppet McLaren is a definite non-starter. With CA not available now (?) and him apparently saying he has not been approached by anyone anyway, are our top men looking somewhere completely different?
I hope so!
