The people who defaced the wall of Bodymoore Heath are mindless idiots, it's looking more and more likely that McLeish could be our new manager I will continue to give one million per cent support to whoever is in charge because I love my club Aston Villa we have to pull together whichever manager we get even if some people don't like it the club is bigger than any person but spraying graffiti on the walls is really not the right thing to do.

Is anyone else getting used to the idea now?

Fair enough he was never my first choice, or even on the list of choices, but it seems inevitable now so we should start looking forward to next season.

We wanted a settled dressing room and the back line being a lot tighter and big eck will bring that.  not every player will want to leave other than those that wanted to anyway and we'll just replace them. simples.  We're not gonna be raiding st andrews for bowyer, carr, et all so we shouldn't worry about this.  these are players bought when your budget reflects this calibre of player.  if he'd had the backing he would have signed a lot of decent players at blues including hart, nzogbia and bale.

Think I'll buy the next issue of Private Eye. Ron Knee could be making a surprise comeback.

It'll be nice to see Craig, Liam and Curtis re-signed.

Again, his supposed defensive brilliance is an absolute fallacy. He puts 11 men behind the ball because he can't organise a defence to do their job.

ALEX MCLEISH IS NOT A DEFENSIVE GENIUS

How do you know, did TalkSport say this?

By 4pm I think I'll be so wasted after consuming about 12 shots of vodka, 4 bottles of Corona and a bottle of Malbec I think we will have appointed Alex Ferguson as our new manager.

If he gets the job and brings Jerome with him, at least we'll be guaranteed one goal a season. ;D

We can forget about conceding too many. Unfortunately, that defensive wall of 11 players means we can also forget about scoring any.

The General alluded to this in his Facebook comment.

He is hardly likely to sign their shite players. His transfers aren't bad considering his budget. He will do OK. I don't see it being any more than OK, but OK nonetheless.
