I know its slightly off topic but i just wanted to throw this out there.

As a loyal villa fan my season ticket was renewed yesterday and i will be there come the start of the season to support the team i have supported all my life. I will not stop going to Villa Park beacause of some prick. I will not let him ruin my season. I will get behind the boys as normal and hope for the best whether it includes McShit or not.

And i beg you all to do the same. Every club is bigger than the manager. Especially ours. We'll be here longer than him so dont let him spoil your fun.

Get behind the boys in claret and blue.

Thank You.

Although I agree with the sentiment, I'd also add that it should be a "Let's wait and see" philosophy over this.  As far as I'm concerned any new manager will walk through the door with a clean slate and I'll judge them on what I see from their Villa side.  And that should be the same be it Jose Mourinho or..........er..........Alex McLeish.

Let's hope the interview goes something like this.....

RL. Can you change the style of football you like your teams to play?
AM. Ermm, I'm not sure.
RL. Thank you, please close the door as you leave.

I'm hoping its more like:

RL to Secretary: Can you send Mr McLeish in please?
AM knocks at door.
RL: Come in Alex.
AM: So kind of you to see me, Mr Lerner.
RL: Thank you Alex. Now run along and make Mr Rijkaard a cup of tea will you?

In the hours and days we were speculating Ancelotti,  Rijkard,  Van Gaal,  even Moyes and Hughes all the time they were out of the question.  And fans said dont worry the board have a plan and are leading the media and merry dance with all these smokescreens,  we'll have a real good meltdown man appointed,  someone to really take us forward.  Who do we have ? Alex Mcleish,  I'd rather Roberto Martinez

I very much think it was Villa fans, we have many idiots in our ranks. It's officially time for me to say; I feel sorry for McLeish if he takes this job. He's in for hell.

I agree.  It was probably the same twat that had the Houllier out banner!

Its pathetic in the extreme, but it demonstrates precisely to me that are many who will simply not accept this and will make trips to Villa next season very unpleasant.
This appointment will divide our supporters like no other and barring a very quick impact its going to be a very unpleasant few months at VP...... How the hell do the board not get this?

Just what I thought and that makes them either extremely arrogant or just plain ignnorant. Two traits that are both rather unpleasant.

Genuinely bothers me that VILLA fans have damaged VILLA property. It's ridiculous.

I know, how could Randy do such a thing
