You guys are being idiots.

Of course we're not going to get McLeish. He's on the wind-up and you lot are flailing around like muppets.

McLeish to Everton, Moyes to Villa.

McLeish has resigned, like Hughes did. So surely that's McLeish out of the running?

Billy Davies at Forest has been sacked.  McLaren lined up as a replacement.

I'm actually feeling a bit sick at that thought, too.

Other than Talksport is there actually any confirmation of his resignation?

McClaren and Forest would be a good fit. Chance for him to establish his name back in the English leagues and Forest will be there or thereabouts the play-offs. So absolutely McClaren to Forest. Please

Did I sound just a bit desperate there?

Pat Murphy was just on the radio talking about Forest/Davies/McLaren - and spoke a little about the McLeish-Villa link.  He didn't mention that McLeish had resigned.

He's going to Everton then. We'll get Moyes.

That would be a very welcome outcome to this saga.

I suspect the Moyes to us, McLeish to Everton thing is just something we'd all like to believe rather than, well, the alternative explanation.
