It looks like the player who had his shot cleared of the line by the supporter was ready to chin him.

Why didnt Jim Walker ever do things like that for us ?

Seriously, what was the refs decison ? As I understand, the laws of the game state any outside interference means the game stops at the point the ball is interferred with and recommences with a drop ball. Which reminds me off Bentys beachball goal for Sunderland v Liverpool which was incorrectly awarded.

I'm pretty sure something like this was the subject of a 'You are the ref' in Shoot or whatever magazine it was in.

Think it's a drop ball.
