I wish they'd stayed up. Holloway may be an irritant, but it made a change to see a crap team actually attack rather than play for 0-0 draws all the time, the league would be infinetely less dull if more teams played like them. Particularly after the number of teams we've seen down VP who aim to just stifle rather than actually play
"this is where their story ends...for the time being"good bye Ian Holloway1953...who used to be famous?

I liked Blackpool, I like the way they attacked, I liked the fact they didn't go buck mad with wages and I found Holloway's comment to be a wake up call to everyone at Villa. The only part that pissed me off was his arse licking of Liverpool in the incident.
yes and how that one little piece of history has been milked to death.Stanley Matthews didn't even score in the game, did he?

The only part that pissed me off was his arse licking of Liverpool in the incident. My thoughts too. Fair play to Blackpool for giving it such a good go, whoever they played against. Their fans were given value for money week in week out by a group of players earning far less than the rest of the greedy Prem Lge lot. They deserve all the credit they've been given for their entertaining and brave approach this season, and on that basis so does their manager, however irritating his press conferences may be to some.
