:) Does anyone have a view on the brolly man? He has good experience, is a good coach to a certain extent. He has won a league title. He may be worth a punt. Perhaps Ged upstairs with McLaren coaching the lads. I think he is waiting for the Villa job hence he has ruled himself out of the Hammers job.

No thanks. He's done well in Europe and with Boro, but would make us a laughing stock. Fans would never take to him and the club would be engulfed in negativity from the start of his reign.

Nope, wouldn't have him. Not after what he did to England and eventually Boro.

Though to be fair, when he won the title with FC Twente, he was the only manager in the first tier of a European division to win 1st place with 0 internationals in the side. (Or so my mate tells me)

Personally, I'd rather have Curbishley or hopefully (but not likely) Ancellotti or Jol.

Feel free to tell your mate he's wrong.

Bryan Ruiz and Theo Janssen are two to get him started.

He's your classic "hilarious full of shit mate that you're not sure why you're friends with". Kind of like Jay from the Inbetweeners.

I just vomited reading his name!

NO WAY should this man be allowed anywhere near VP, even if he manages the opposition.

He's obviously after the Villa job and the thought of him getting it is horrifying, particularly the thought of his first press conference Dutch (or is it German now?) accent and all.

He'd probably end up sounding like Tommy Hitz.
