TV..... I have been thinking about what I can do for 45 minutes that will take my mind off the football so I don't have to content with the feeling in an hour of emptiness that comes with us having thrown away 29 points from winning positions this season.

Unbelievable isn't it? To think we've just pissed away that many points in a season where it's hardly been brilliant from 4th spot down. I think like pretty much everyone on here we expect something bad to happen quickly into the 2nd half. But think back to games against Fulham A, Man U home, Bolton A to name just three that spring immediately to mind, and you are left wondering "what if?"

No faith in us maintaining our position but a good first half. We need to keep it very tight for ten mins or so.

you can almost taste the depression in the Sky commentary box. Unlucky Arsenal, lucky Villa etc etc

I can see us bringing on Uncle Bob for Delph for some reason.

Come on Fulham, knock a few more in. Put them in the bottom 3 tonight.

Yeah, i remember that 3-2 at Arse a few years back when 2-0 up at HT. Not getting carried away, but very good first half. Formation looks good, although Delph needs to get with the program, and the defence still looks ropey when pressurised. We will concede in the second half, but hopefully we can hang on, maybe get another ourselves on the break. NRC looks very good in this formation, and Petrov benefits from having 2 with him, albeit Delph looks like half at the moment. The 3 up top have enough quality to make things happen even without much support. Milner would be great in that formation.

Nope. Goals for Arsenal in the 52nd, 73rd and final minute. You can almost visualise it, we have been there so often before...

I've just had a vision.
Bent completes his first hat trick in a Villa shirt and runs to the fans to take the plaudits.
