John Burridge's autobiograpy
« on: May 10, 2011, 01:31:24 PM »
As mentioned elsewhere, Budgie is now out, published by John Blake, with whom we've negotiated a discount of 55%, meaning you can buy the book direct from them for £7.65, a saving of £9.34.

If you are interested in purchasing copies, please call their office on 020 7381 0666, quoting 'Budgie Supporters Offer'.

I've just ordered a copy as a present. That price includes P&P, BTW.

As someone who usually steers well clear of your typical, anodyne footballer's "auto"biography, I'm tempted.  Budgie's certainly got a tale to tell.

I will be keeping an eye on this. I probably will pick it up if it is good.

I've heard he dedicates a page to each club he played for.

He's bringing it out in ten 3,000-page volumes.

It's a fantastic read, not just the bog standard autobiography, very humourous, entertaining and I'm selling my copy on Ebay for £4.95 plus postage!

As the publishers have been good enough to sort this discount for us, it's not very polite to discuss alternative ways of buying the book on the same thread.
