We're stuck with him, Petrov and Beye for another season unless we pay them off. They have no re-sale value and are on £150k a week each between them. Woeful decisions by MON and Randy, who ultimately signs the cheques.

He was elbowed from behind on a few occasions, but as an experienced professorial his actions were unacceptable.

It was most surprising and uncharacteristic of Heskey.
Considering how he has always maintained such professional dignity in the face of some of the crap he has had to put up with from some Villa fans over the last couple of years that he reacted to a couple of pokes in the back.

There is more to this than what is being reported - all i can see is fair play to Brad Freidel an absolute gentleman and superb example of a professional

I'd hope there is, because the way he went from mortally wounded to chasing the ref like a crazed cheetah in two seconds was one of the most pathetic things I've seen from a Villa player.

Watched the game on holiday in Cyprus and cringed with embarrassment at heskeys pathetic behaviour- what a way to behave and on his wages he should hold his head in shame- he lost it at home to Sunderland and cost us the game and he could and should have been sent off against Wigan- I really hope he is not wearing a villa shirt next season!

Although not condoning his little push on the referee, for which he was lucky to stop on, I’d like to see a lot more aggression from Emile as he would take some stopping. It just needs to be applied correctly.

I can only think that something else must have gone on for him to react in the way that he did as a centre forward must surely be used to getting barged in the back and not getting every decision.

if he had a problem with being hit in the head he should of ran up to Caldwell and gave ut the big 'un, not the little ref

he did.

I was worried that he would have been sent off and us down to ten men good job Gary Mac hauled him off at half time for the teams sake.

But the lack of intervention from the bench was worrying.

While Heskey was running around like a headless chicken no-one from the bench called him over to have a word, it was left to Friedel to sort it out. Crazy.

Heskey's lack of professionalism is even worse - according to yesterday's Independent he left the stadium after being taken off at half time. Hopefully not to return.
