As a golf fan I was gutted yesterday to hear about Seve. It wasn't unexpected as his family had suggested he was struggling.
He was an absolute star of the game and if you ask virtually any golfer from Europe, they would cite him as a major influence.

A great. Thanks for the memories Seve.

On my brothers first day as a caddie on the European circuit he found himself with John O'Leary (who he worked for), Mark James and Seve on the putting green for several hours long after everybody had gone.

Seve was everything a true sporting hero should be and more and my brother has never forgotten how welcoming and what a gent he was.
