How come loads of people sat watching on dodgy internet streams can see we need a change in the middle but the guy who is being paid to manage us is completely unwilling to notice it.

Because he is useless.
Thats more or less what I said

I read a stat before that said wigan had 74% of the position for a while

Well technically it's not hard to have 74% possession (which I'm assuming you meant) 'for a while'. If the period reflected is 60 seconds, that's a reasonable possession period. Even 5 minutes. Football is about periods of possession, and it's back and forth.

Is bannan on the bench, we could do with his creativity in the midfield

We may not be going down but we'll only beat the drop by one place.

Why on Earth would we have Bannan on the bench when we have the dynamo that is Robert Pires?!?

Is it time for Pires to come on yet and do his impression of an escaping incontinent OAP who's shat his pants and running away from the nurse?

I'd have put my balls on Bent scoring that.
