Well this being the Villa and never doing anything easy,we will probably be awful and outplayed in the first half and be booed off at half time losing 1-0 . In the second half we will come out a changed side like we did at Everton ,draw level, get in front and then just when we think we,ve won give a stupid goal away or more likely have a bad decision go against us and end up drawing .

The season summed up in three lines. Impressive!

I would settle for a point and safety.  How things have changed down VP in one season!!   Looking forward to next season with a couple of new players and above all a new manager..

Would be ecstatic with a win as it'll just draw a line under the season and I can ignore the rest of it. New manager next year please.

I think this will be 1-1 - we just lack any killer instinct. One good thing in our favour is that Charles N'Zogbia is a major doubt for them - he hasn't trained all week after coming off injured in last week's match against Everton.

We're due to beat these, and we're also due to give someone a damn good hiding.

Aston Villa 6-1 Wigan Athletic

Bent 12, 43, 79
A. Young 56 (Pen - he'll be a c*** and not let Bent go for the hat trick)
Agbonlahor 89
Makoun 86

N'Zogbia 67

Was just about to post 6-1 as well. Dunno why, just think we are going to have all the breaks.

'Midfielders Charles N'Zogbia and Mohamed Diame are Wigan's two injury worries.'

Be a massive bonus if N'Zogbia is out.

Stewart Downing (236) has made more crosses from open play than any other player in the Premier League in 2010/11.

What they fail to mention is most of them fail to beat the first man. If Stewart could improve that side of his game, he'd be one of the best players in the league. Everything else he does is great, it's just his final ball that lets him down.

I expect polar opposites in attitude this weekend. Wigan will be well up for this, and I'm afraid that our bunch of slackers won't be. I'm preparing for another defeat, but have decided to be wildly optimistic and go for a 1:1 draw. Bent. Who else?

Definately 4-2, Bent to get a couple, an Ash penalty and a rare Petrov screamer. For them?, who gives a shit?
