Thought I would start a thread for the above for me & b23 (and anyone else interested) as the current thread was started following a rider being killed.

Maybe an occasional Paddock girl picture would mean more visitors to the thread ?

Here is a Police officer in Portugal.

You two look lonely here, so I'll join in on your conversation!! :)
I'm well into all 3 and much prefer bike racing to F1 as theres much more overtaking and youre not constantly working out whos made a pit stop and who hasnt.

WSBK & BSB rounds this weekend, should be exciting.

A mention to Jenny Tinmouth, the fist ever female rider in BSB has quit after just 2 races.

That's a shame for her. I remember seeing her at Thruxton a couple of years ago (on 125's I think) and she was doing ok.
Highlights of todays BSB round at Thruxton are on Eurosport (channel 2) at 8.00pm. I didn't go this year due to working, looks like it rained a fair bit.

WSBK currently on Eurosport 2. Checa finished race then binned it on the warm down lap. Looked very sheepish when he got back to the pits.

Just got round to watching the races, Sky +'d them over the weekend and had a bike day yesterday :)

Made a mistake in recording the HD version on Eurosport 2 as the coverage jumped from 17 laps remaining to 5 laps remaining. Not happy. I'd rather watch standard definition and get the whole race, I'll remember for next time.
That Checa incident must have been in the first race then as they didnt show that. Sounds well funny though :)

Shakey Byrne took a double at BSB, congrats to him.

Looking forward to MotoGP this coming weekend, Dani Pedrosa ruled out with the injury he picked up last time out (Naughty Simoncelli).

You got a bike yourself D.boy?

Colin Edwards broken his collarbone falling off during an outlap in free practice session.
Down to just 15 riders at the moment!

Any of you biker types watching any of the TT on ITV 4?  The race is absolutely mental, it's mad watching them do 180mph on the roads I drive on every day.

I haven't watched the MotoGP from yesterday yet so will catch it today on iplayer.
I have been watching the TT coverage... those racers have some massive gonads to do those speeds on what are basically public roads. The on board cameras are superb.

Junxs, i have a very tidy CBR900 rrv thats my toy. I will never be able to push it near its limits.

MotoGP Honda rider Marco Simoncelli died this morning following a crash involving Simoncelli, Colin Edwards and Simoncellis friend Valentino Rossi at Sepang (Malaysia).
A sad day for motorcycle racing, RIP big fella.
