Blue socks (or black if it's really retro) and it would be pretty good.

This.  Black socks with claret and blue tops would be ace.  Proper retro.  White socks are fcuking dreadful - as many have said, we're not West Ham.

Ghastly, hate the checks and loathe white socks with the home kit. As if things aint buggered up enough as it is...it's not long since we seemed to get everything right, now we can barely put one foot in front of the other it seems...

On the plus side Petrov won't look so bad now when he sweats like a rapist he'll only have to get half the shirt a deeper shade of claret.

I like it, with the exception of the white socks. Make 'em claret or blue and I'd have bought the lot.

And I'd be more than happy with HTC are the shirt sponsor ... it's a damn site better than some shite on-line gambling/betting site anyway. Speculation though, unfortunately.


I do wonder about the OS's response, mind. As said, it's almost as if they knew what they were doing. However, saying that they could just be re-assuring fans after the major fuck up last season.
