Reserves v. Chelsea
« on: April 26, 2011, 10:24:24 PM »
My mate phoned me today from outside Chelsea's training ground, where he was trying to get in to watch the reserves last game of the season. He text me later to tell me we lost 2-1.

Nothing on here though. Is he living in a dream world, or did I imagine it?

Listed on the OS but no score given.  Mind you, there's no scores shown for our last two away games at West Ham and the Yawnthorns either.  Still awaiting the telegram presumably.

Reserve football won't be around in a few years I suspect. More and more teams pulling out, better to loan players out for real competitive football.

I reckon we should enter the Birmingham Senior Cup, that would be competitive. Has anyone suggested it to the General?

In fairness to the OS the reserve match was covered well on the site with a live and text commentary.
