I know Carew won't be playing but I hope he gets a good reception from the fans he does meet.

This was the fixture in which booted the corner flag at the kid in the Holte after scoring the winner was it not? (By accident of course)

This season has been one of one step forward two steps back. Everytime we've had a good result or performance the next one has been atrocious so i honestly dont know about this one. 2-2. Can Carew play in this one?

Well it's about time we beat them at home. I'll go for a comfortable 3-0 win.
We beat them 1-0 last season.
Really, I could have sworn we have conceded late goals against them in the last 2 games. For some reason I was thinking we have had a 2-2 and a loss of 3-2. Must be age getting the better of me.

Dont worry. I put some class As in his luggage. By the time he gets home the nights will be drawing in again and he'll be walking like John Wayne.

Be interesting to see how Houlliers tactics cope with them, they ahd a knack of upsetting Mon's teams and have got better since.
Never been one for my win certainties but I think we will

Gone for a home win all day long.

We owe them one after recent years - some of which have been deserved admittedly, but I think at least 2-0 to us.

This could easily go the same way as the Ipswich home game in 78 just before they lifted the trophy, an emphatic 6-1 win in the sun against an opposition with their minds elsewhere
Pretty sure geddis played for them that day

Did you not know.     We got Darren Bent,

                                  I say we got Darren

                                   Bent.

4-0 Bent brace Ash Collins ..........

I don't think so Wiki - Pullis is a hard taskmaster and Stoke always 'put a shift in'.

No but neither was Bobby Robson with the aforementioned Ipswich side
Hard to judge Stoke, one week they're winning 3-0 at the Hawthorns then they'll lose 0-3 at The Boleyn
I just think they're effectively 1 game away from their summer hols now

I will be in the Trinity Upper, with the the wife and kids so I'm expecting a 5-0 goalfest with non-stop singing and the Witton Lane doing a non-stop "Mexican" Wave.
