If he does end up going I wish him well, he's been bloody great for us and I can't really understand some of the stick he gets.

I'm hoping there's something in this Man. City interested as I'd want Adam Johnson in a swop as I doubt he'd become as mentally unstable as Ireland as soon as he moves.

Will be really interesting to see if he pushes on to become the world class player MON thought he could, or if his increasing inability to go past players and significant deterioration in crossing the ball continue.

I can't really see him being a priority for Man U. They have Valencia, Park, Giggs, Nani to play wide. If I were Fergie I'd make a keeper, and at least one, possibly two central midfielders, as well as possibly a replacement for Berbatov, my priorities.

I think Man Citeh will be after bigger names, though I think Liverpool and Spurs will be interested. I do think there's a chance we'll get one more year out of him though, albeit a slim one. We'll want £15m minimum for him, and I reckon teams may prefer to wait.

Although we were scarred with the Ireland deal, we'd have better chances of getting players out of Spurs (Walker and / or Kranjcar) or Citeh (Johnson, Given, Onouha or Milner) but the problem with most there will be the massive wages they're on. So I reckon only Johnson or Onouha are real goers.

He's on his way for sure. 3 years ago I'd have been gutted, but not now, he's just the lastest in a long line...

Barry, Milner, Young (and inevitably) Downing, and Bent...

And people who say N'Zogbia and Albrighton are as good as him are deluded, or mental. Ashley Young will be annoyingly good for Man U or Liverpool.

Wherever he plies his trade next season, if he has a miraculous upswing in the consistency of his performances, I guess I won't be alone in feeling short changed based on what he's served up since he got himself sent off at Sunderland over two years ago.  I don't think he ever quite reached the heights for us again after serving that suspension.

Aye. And we can really get riled with his diving and petulant behaviour. He has the ability to be a "Genius"(TM MON). Its just the other shit that annoys me about him. If he was crap it wouldn't bother me but he could be so good if he would just cut the shit out. Anyhoo Thanks Ash and good luck.

Ash has been great for us. I'm certain he's off this summer but would go with my blessings.
Most important thing for us is a quality replacement. Would love Adam Johnson, and would definately take N'Zogbia!

Ashley Young. The player than can turn attack into defence in a split-second. Or was it the other way around, I forget. Either way, he's off. All the best and thanks for the goals and assists, but not the free kicks, corners or dives.

I felt angry when Yorke, Barry and Milner left us. With Ash going I feel kind of sad. I think we'll miss him more than we care to admit.
