"Fingers crossed, I can continue not to be injured, keep going, keep doing what I've been doing, and see it right through to the end of the season.''

Says it all for me.

So, who we gonna buy with the £15m?

i'd be surprised if he's not got a packed suitcase in his car for a quick gettaway. Oh well, so be it. Now lets get an auction going and try and screw watford out of their 15%

Lets not be petty. He's given us 5 years and put some graft in in that time IF he leaves us.

At this stage, I can't really blame him for wanting to move on.

He talks about hitting his peak, I honestly think he's gone past that.
Still good, but not quite the player he was.

Can you bet on who he will join?

I'd like to put a hefty amount on Liverpool.

Without doubt Liverpool. Daglish is gonna sign the best British players from clubs below them. Ashley, Baines, Cahill, Adam etc.

What makes you say that?  They may go for them, but I'm uncertain how much money they have and without CL football to offer we may see miss out on a lot of their targets.

Unfortunately though, like it or not, Liverpool are still a big name club and that will help them attract the players they are looking at.

I think Spuds purely because he is living back in Herts which to me tells it's own story

As far as a bidding war goes, can't see it myself due to the sell on clause, I can see him going for cash and a player

He's always put the effort in but his skill level especially from free kicks has disappeared. Another player who thinks he is better than he really is. He may be getting more money but i would wager Milner was far happier as a Villa player.

Chelsea bound me thinks - they will have a huge clearout this year and the likes of Malouda and co will be shipped out - plus I am sure he would fit right in down that left side with the other wanker called Ashley

To be honest, if he leaves this summer, I'll wish him well. He's barely missed a game since he's joined us, he always puts in a good shift - not one of these lazy, luxury forward players - and, for me, he's usually been our most effective and exciting attacking player. I'll be really disappointed to see him go - but I've been expected it for around a year now and, based on everything that has happened this season, I can't say that we've done an awful lot to convince him his future would be best served at Villa. We can offer him a pay hike, but in terms of stability, we're as unsettled now as we were in August.

I'll never totally understand the depth of criticism he gets from some fans, but there you go.
