I think Ashley Young will go to Man Utd or Liverpool for around £16m maximum.

If we were to get a swap deal than maybe £12m + Joe Cole from Liverpool?
Or even £8m & Kyle Walker from Spurs? If they were keen.
Maybe Wellbeck from Man Utd? If he isn't involved in a swap deal to take Rodwell to TTOD. ( ;) )

£25m just isnt going to happen with 12 months left.

I'll still be amazed if Manure want him.

I reckon Liverpool.

Would love to keep Walker, but i'd be tempted to convert him to right midfield.

Lets play him for the last 5 games and just enjoy watching him in his autumn years at Villa

Interesting that Petrov got the armband back yesterday

Technically Petrov is still club captain? It would have been a bit of an insult not to give it to him

Tend to agree and to be honest I wouldn't begrudge him a move to them - genuine opportunity to win stuff rather than just padding out his bank balance

The plus side is it will allow Albrighton his big break of regular game time and he is some player
I think we are getting Larson too and I rate him highly also

If he does go, then Man Utd would be the best destination Villa-wise. Realistically, we're not in competition with them but we are with Liverpool and Spurs. So lets keep him away from them

Bloody hell.
Larsson would be a sub standard replacement for him.
He's reasonable enough, but he can't cause panic in defences like Ash can.

To be fair there is nothing technical about it, Petrov is the club Captain, so when he plays he where's the band.

There is still hope Ashley might stay. Fingers crossed

Because he's still one of the very best wingers in the league and will be available for a fraction of what he's actually worth.

They'd be mental not to sign him.

He'll be off. High teens, maybe low twenties and probably to Man United. Liverpool and Spurs (who I am pretty sure will sell Bale) will also be interested.

No makeweights please and especially not useless arseholes like Cole and Carrick.

Still zzzzzzzzzz.
He will probably be on his way. Does it really matter the destination? The challenge is how much we get for him.
