Nothing wrong with Bent's first "goal". We were cheated out of that. It would have changed the game too. When it went in I thought we were on a hat load. Linesman was happy as well. Still. Three points.

Now we just need to score six or seven somewhere to get that bloody goal difference sorted.

Where?

I can think of a place.

Which is Dave?

4 miles from Villa park at a guess.

Still hope sack Houllier after we win next week against stoke and are safe i really hate him

lovely. So you can't see the improvements and you hate the bloke? No pleasing some.

Exactly, we've won a huge game away and yet still look at the negative side.

Annoys me this. As I said much earlier: Go and have a pint and enjoy the day. The last thing we all need is negative sentiment today. It was a good performance, with passion and intent and even if it was the old guard they worked for each other. Add Bent and it looked very good.

I am not a GH fan either, not yet anyway,  but today it simply does not matter. I think we are safe and I think we have found our fight.

Enough for me. Quite happy thanks.
Exactly,if you can't enjoy a performance like today, whats the point in following a team?

I'd like to make a public apology to Gabriel Agbonlahor, for doubting him and even, foolishly, suggesting we should cash in on him this summer. I am a massive twat. That is all...

p.s. What a fucking great win, great day and 500ml bottles of Orangeboom are only £1 in Budgens!

Be my guest, I deserve it!

Today has made me realise that the striking department is probably the last area we need to address this summer. If we have the money it would be nice to get another top quality player in or if GH can pull off an audacious deal like Benzema on loan for a year, but rebuilding the defence and getting a top notch DM & AM should take priority!

Great result today, we showed some real spirit to come back after going a goal down inside 105 seconds and to win it in stoppage time makes the result even sweeter!

Well done GH and the players; life doesn't feel so bad as a Villa fan this evening...

With the M1 problems, I got off at Junction 10 and cut through the leafy Herfordshire countryside before hitting the 25
I'm mad I am

Great reactions from everyone and fair play to the Villa fans for packing the stands

Great day! Freshly-made pancakes for breakfast, a light lunch then a 2 hour walk along the "Canal de Perpignan" with she who must be obeyed. Back for a Villa win then out to see "We want Sex Equality" (or, "Made in Dagenham", to give it its English title), in English. Then it was off to "Chez Turkmen" in Perpignan for some Raki, Turkish red and various Turkish fare. Then, back to château BE for a glass or two of red and a nice malt to finish.

Good job Young got that lovely cross over for Gabby because I was giving him the wankers all through the game for dawdling on the post for the first goal.

And I had the strange pleasure of indirectly keeping Villa fan Walsall manager Dean Smith updated on our fortunes via text message during their 3-1 defeat to Brighton today... as erstwhile H&V poster IanB was sitting next to him.
