Young is on his way regardless of what happens this season. Anyone who thinks otherwise is deluded. We'll get the upfront fee + add ons back. Downing is the modern day Mark Walters - looks good with some eye catching goals but overall contribution to the team? Sub optimal. I think he will be gone too - to Liverpool I reckon.

Thanks, Russell Grant.
Load of cobblers about Downing by the way. Our best player this season, easily.

I was about to ask, if Downing has been that shit, which of our players have been consistently better this season?

I can't think of any.

You could argue this is one of the most important games of the season.  Win, and I'd say we're definitely safe.  We'd be 8 points clear of West Ham, and could breathe a bit of a sigh of relief.  Lose, and we'd be right back down in the shit.  I'm going for a draw, as I think we'll prolong the agony a bit longer.

Good post Risso, totally agree and think it will be a draw as well (I'll take that), but let's do hope you are wrong and we win.

I hope Hitz does not play because he'll score if he does.

There are two west Ham's, the one that played the first half against Man ure and the West Ham that played against us. I hope its the latter. I hate West Ham & if we lose my weekends ruined

Draw

If Hitz does play, can our fans there shout "Pass!".

A not-the-end-of-the-world 1-1.

Parker's out and I was already favouring Villa. Now more so.

3-1 to Villa.

I said 1-1 earlier, but Parker being out is a big loss for them.

I reckon it'll be 2-1 Villa and if other results go for us then hopefully the orange dot won't be needed for a while.

This will be my first trip to West Ham, anyone know of any good away pubs near the ground?

To be fair shoot will 9 times out of ten be a better option for us.

I was at the 4-1 demolition of West Ham years ago, that was the catalyst for both Tommy Johnson and Brian Little's career take off.  A similar performance and result today would be nice.

Parker facing late fitness test

Makoun definitely being rested

Anyway, and far more importantly, who have Spurs got today?

It's that 1 out of 10 a minute from time when it's 1-1 that I'm worried about!

The Denmark Arms is always pretty ok - mix of fans in there and a friendly atmosphere
