Two hollywood passes fucked up in a minute from ash. Hope he doesn't revert to type.

He looks like that knee thing is bothering him.  Normally he'd have run forward with that first one.

Why does the commentator keep harping on about this "revenge" shit? Look, you muppet, we played them in a game 2 years ago, and they were relegated after it. They lost a shitload of other games that season, which is why they went down. Might as well say they want "revenge" on every team that beat them that season. Twat.

The result is everything here but boy are we poor

We look like what we are - completely shorn of confidence and half of them wanting away. It would be difficult to pick out a worst performer but Luke Young doesn't half irritate me with his overhit, wild passes and lack of composure...

1st our speed ball is very slow compare to the match with Everton.
The accuracy much worse today.
Defender : Still worry about connection between Collin and Dunne.
Midfield : The passing in midfield is quite short and less fighting. It is likely that Toon can control the midfield.
Attacking : Young and Downing are quite today. Gabby is disappear.

Luckily that we have a goal ahead and we should get another goal from Bent.

2nd half the speed of ball and determination need to be improved.

Bit too much long ball early on for my liking but hopefully we will push on a bit more attacking the Holte. Collins goal was terrific header and i had him at 25/1 to get the first so i'm pleased. Makoun bit shaky at times but got better as half went on, Gabby looks up for it. Not sure how Bent missed that header but hopefully we get a strong 2nd half from him.

I'm convinced we'll concede so we need some more goals.

Hopefully Makoun will pick up the way he finished the half.

Ashley has adopting the Beckham 'Quarter back' role where he thinks he's better than everybody else on the team.
One thing he should have learnt from Beckham is it's very ineffective and also makes you look a twat.

Home to a weakened Newcastle in a 'must win' game - it hasn't looked very good has it?

We did improve just before half-time but the ball looks like a hot potato to at least half the team

Petrov's doing quite well I reckon. Downing and young leave our full backs a bit exposed don't they?

Positive collective thoughts needed right now - if we all think the same maybe that fool Barton will give away a pen & get sent off!
