Ruskin Hall. Fans freely mix without any hint of bother.

Although I was threatened in there once by some massive fat twat: "IRA mate, we're the boys" after I asked him to watch where he was going when he barged into me carrying a couple of drinks. He said it bang in front of my then 13 year old nephew as well.

Where's Ruskin Hall?

Just off the expressway, Victoria Road west bound, about 300 yards up on the left. Can't miss it.

I watched about 5 minutes of a Rangers v Celtic game in there, after 5 songs all pro IRA chants and not one mention of Celtic, I decided to leave. The Celtic bar is really quite threatening..

The Aston Hotel looks a damn site better after the refurb, Paul who also owns the Ruskin Hall has done a great job!

I thought it looked different when i looked in as i walked past the other night. I'll have to pop in next home game.

As for The Holte Pub, it's a nice and handy if you sit in the Holte End but it's a bit on the small side to be charging to get in. The Gordon Cowans Suite is free now though but it's a bit drab in there if truth be told.

Forgive me if this has been mentioned before but The Sacred Heart in Grange Road has been refurbished beyond belief.  The beer is relatively cheap and there is an outside annex which also has a bar and screens.  They also show 3:00 games when we are starting at 5:30, very useful.

If you can't be arsed with new fangled things like a telly, The Bartons is a must visit.

Today's game..The Dove in Hammersmith W6. Oldest pub round there, on the river just west of Hammersmith Bridge 400yds.
Good beer, Green King I think. Brilliant view. 20-20 mins from ground walking. Better than any of the sh*tholes around Shepherds Bush..go to Wetherspoons on the Green as a place for a chancy cheap pint..probably full of 'gers fans tho.

The Aston Hotel's refurb is shaping up nicely. Plenty of space to move about in now.

BTW as a relegation six pointer telly may grab that game and change the kick off time. Check your 'team' is flexible.

Good shout, we'll be ready to drop everything and change plans for Mr Murdock as usual. Hope we're not on TV as that normally means we'll be sh1t!

The Inn place, Lanzarote is fantastic. Bit far to travel for most of you, but a great football pub.

Hi, can anyone tell me if The Sacred Heart Club is open to non members on match days. Me and a few mates looking for somewhere decent for a beer and a chat before today's game that doesn't fall into the Aston Social (packed and a chance of "sorry lads") or Adventures ("shit on the City song song") category.
cheers UTV

The last time I went in with some mates earlier in the season there was no membership required for anyone.

Where is everyone drining tonight to watch the game?  On my lonesome so fancy a beer!  Had an offer from a Bradford supporting colleague but fear it may be upsetting for one of us!
