I'm sure that the pressure of having a wideboy geezer of a Manager (Chubby Chandler ffs) and an "entourage" didn't help McIlroy either.

Golf doesn't need the Chubby Chandlers of the world circling overhead like vultures.

Rory fell apart under the pressure
Hope he has the character to bounce back

There's no sport quite like golf for watching the wheels coming off so spectacularly. Not quite as spectacular as Greg Norman's fall, but it was compelling viewing nonetheless.

It is such a mentally demanding game and at 21 years old, that final day was a round too far for Rory
He started the British Open last year (day 1) on fire too but then fell away

In the long run it'll probably do him a lot of good. You learn more from the tough experiences.

McIlroy fell from grace last night like me on tequila.

Not sure, see Garcia, Westwood, never won a major, must be wondering if they ever will
especially when they see the likes of Oustihousen rocking up and winning at their first go

The more I think about it, the more I think his caddy, JP, should of stepped up and kept him calm.
