Christ I hadn't realised the stat Jeff Stelling just came out with that we haven't kept a clean sheet away all season in any comp. If that's true it's disgraceful, and no wonder we're in the shit.

Tell Hartlepool Jeff to stick to his weekday job perving Rachel Riley.

Gabby off, Delph on.
We need to get something from this game but conceding another will bury us.

Collins has been poor all game.Beaten far to easily for the goal, and Friedel should have done a lot better.

We have'nt played too badly ,but we don't create enough chances.Probably bring Heskey on in place of Gabby or Bent, and hold the ball up better.

Can't afford to lose today tbh.

I think Heskey might be the key, nobody is holding the ball up.  Bent isn't the man to do that.

i agree with bringing Heskey on, lets see him hold the ball up and bring out the best in Bent.

Walker nearly gifted them a goal early and then lost posession for their goal, might be alright going forward but a good defender he isn't.

At least you have the balls to admit it plenty said the same and are now moaning at Houllier. A case of being careful what you wish for.

Anyone think the experience of Petrov for 45 mins could spur us on. We all know he can't do it for 90 but he'll give 100%, club captain and can retain possession. I'd swap him for NRC. We need to get the ball out wide more and faster too. Then we might get some balls into the box in the hope that the statue Bent might come alive.

I'd put Cuellar on for Walker in hope that the defence would be much more solid and that Downing, Young, Gabby and Bent can create something up front.

I dont think Heskey is the answer, we will start pumping the ball up and didtin will have him for breakfast, we should go 4-3-3 and get Delf on for gabby
