I'm a few thousand miles away in Jordan, I'm following this match on this thread only, please, someone with a balanced view, tell me, are we the all-too-familiar barrel of churning donkey turds, or is there hope?

We are not playing well at all, the back four look particualry shakey but we have had enough chances in that half to have a little bit of hope.

We have had a couple of chances, they have had more.  They deserve to be in front.  Heads will go down now and Everton will see out the second half to win is my guess.

I think that goal summed up or season in a nutshell.

Firstly, sloppy to give the ball away, their lad showing more commitment to drive forward, poor decision making from Collins allowing the attacker in on goal and then a weak hand from Friedel.

Collins had no chance after Walker lost the ball.

And if we go down we'll still be villans and we'll continue to get behind them and we'll come back up. We're supposed to be supporters.

I think we will stay up anyway.

We're reasonable going forward, though less so since the goal as Everton have just sat back. Defensively? Collins is atrocious. He really isn't good enough.

I'm with you, actually I'm very positive about the 2nd half.
